There are rocks everywhere on the road. The apartments are huge though Lots of space inside. I love the dog park, sand volleyball, and basketball court. It's all very homey.

submitted by Gregory S. - |Recommended: YesGreat first impressions — I've only been here a few weeks but so far its been great. The office staff is super friendly and it apartments themselves are great, few issues here or there but nothing big. The one complaint I have is the lack of a outgoing mailbox.

Most apartments do not ask residents to pay water bill and that would discourage people from living here. Also would need to put that into consideration and review my options now that it has been introduced.

Could become a prime place to live with a little tweaking. — I love the modern open floor plans, the build quality amenities and the service of the staff. Great residents for the most part, though there has been a handful of unsupervised juveniles who are very loud, cursing and screaming at each other in common areas almost daily and at times damaging the property. It’s not uncommon to see them throwing rocks onto the pavilion roof, kicking over the garbage cans, standing on the picnic tables and barbecue pits, stomping bushes or breaking branches from the trees as they stroll past. These kids are troubled and their parents are nowhere in sight. Very nice landscaping but a lack of irrigation in common areas has led to the turf and several trees bushes being damaged or dying if it doesn’t rain every week. The harsh speed bumps throughout the complex are similar to what you’d find in a trailer park 40 years ago, instead of a modern complex using speed Humps, which will also slow traffic without still spilling every drink in their vehicle. The current speed bumps actually encourage a driver to speed up, forcing the vehicle suspension to deal with the obstacle instead of the passengers and cargo. This needs an upgrade. The basketball court may have come with good intentions but predictably, it’s routinely being used for pickup games by groups of young males who obviously do not live in the complex. They’re driving into the complex from other areas and parking next to the court as if it’s a public park. This is a common problem in the Louisville metro area and signs are not likely to deter their presence. At this point, these young adults don’t appear to be doing anything but trespassing, but this type of activity often invites a criminal element and a growing potential for serious crime and or violence on the property. Most residents don’t appear to have much interest in the basketball court and the space could be better served as an additional dog park or other type of common space.
